What do Global Methodist Churches believe?
Here is a link to a quick summary of our beliefs:
Are Christians at Faith Beyond Madison perfect?
“Spiritual Perfection” is “A heart overflowing with love for God and man.” (John Wesley) We still make mistakes, we don’t always love perfectly; but we strive to be more mature and love better every day. We are on a journey of growing in love, and knowing Jesus better each day, so that we love better each day. Life and relationships are messy, but we invite you to join us on the journey toward Spiritual Perfection: loving Jesus and each other.
Will I be accepted at Faith Beyond Madison? Are there any requirements?
Yes. No dress or status matters to us. You have a history, so do many of us. We all need Jesus, for many different reasons. We can’t speak for every individual that comes thru the doors, only for those of us that call this our church. Our only requirement is that you remain respectful of others, just as you would hope to receive respect from others.
Jesus loves you, and them, and even us.
Does this church believe in supernatural healing, miracles, etc?
Yes, BUT… We believe and pray for God to Touch our lives, but we also understand that we are servants of God and are to do His will, not treat God as our magic genie. Therefore, we pray for healing, but trust the outcome to God. God always answers, though not always as we might wish.
Since the name is about Faith Beyond Madison: Will I see God do miracles at this church?
- That is up to God, not us.
- The Religious leaders didn’t see what Jesus did, as miracles from God. Part of seeing God move, is being open to God doing what we don’t expect… allowing God to do the unexpected.
- If you don’t have faith that God will do something, on his timing, then you will never see anything.
- Yes, we have seen God do miracles. Some slow. Some instant physical healings. Some emotional healing. And many other types.
Is there a way that I can receive prayer, for anything?
Yes. We have a time for anointing and prayer at the end of every regular service. We go offline before this part of the service, just in case of privacy, so you won’t see it without being present. You can also contact our secretary to post requests on the prayer chain. The pastor and many church members are willing to pray with you specifically, just get in contact with any of us. In time we hope to set up links for prayer requests on this site.
